R.E.Butler and son is a family run business with a tradition of building going back 3 generations. Over the years, we have maintained a broad range of general building skills. As times and working methods have changed, so we have adapted and developed the specialist techniques necessary to fulfill our customers requirements.
With the conservation process continuing to gain momentum, there is a growing realisation that the wealth of timber framed buildings in the county must be preserved. In response to this, we have gained particular expertise in the restoration of Essex Barns, although our work extends to large bespoke new build houses and renovation projects.
